Ricordàti is our signature Bordeaux blend.  It is a classic lower left-bank style made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Tannat. The name means something like "a remembrance" in Italian, a tribute to those who have passed from our lives.  This is a wine lover's wine.  The robust Cabernet Sauvignon is softened and supplemented by the Merlot and the Cab Franc, then fortified with Tannat.  It is hard to offer pairing suggestions on this;  once I start on a bottle, food just seems so irrelevant.
